Lidl handing out free Taylor Swift-themed limited edition merchandise this week
Budget-friendly supermarket Lidl is celebrating the return of its much-missed Cheese Twist by giving away some 'iconic' Taylor Swift-themed merchandise. From May 30, Cheese Twist enthusiasts can rejoice as the popular bakery item will be returning to stores across the country.
Lidl customers have been vocal on social media about their desire for the return of the store's Cheese Twist. On X, previously known as Twitter, users have been campaigning for the savoury snack's revival after it disappeared from shelves years ago.

In a move that mirrors the icon's promotion of her Era Tour, Lidl is cheekily celebrating the return of its own star product with a merchandise giveaway. The retailer is dishing out free 'Twisties' fan bundles, echoing Swift's promotional style.
To fulfill your Wildest Dreams, head over to www.lidltwisties.co.uk, where 1,989 fan bundles are up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis. The lucky 'Lidl Twisties' who snag a bundle will score a limited-edition fan t-shirt, a Twisties friendship bracelet, and a coupon for a free Lidl Plus Cheese Twist, redeemable in-store.
A Lidl spokesperson added: "And, get Ready For It, as a further 15,000 Twisties can enjoy a free Cheese Twist via Lidl Plus Coupon, through the same website."
In a cheeky Instagram video, Lidl hinted at the return of the beloved Cheese Twist with a curated playlist featuring songs like The Twist by Chubby Checker and Say Cheese by Paul Russell.
