Love Island fans all say same thing as Konnor recouples with Grace
The drama on Love Island keeps on getting hotter, as Konnor Ewudzi chose to recouple up with Grace Jackson on Monday night’s episode (24 June), despite her close relationship with former flame Joey Essex.
Konnor hasn’t played it safe since coming into the Island, choosing ‘taken’ Islanders Mimii, Grace and Nicole to go on dates with him.
On Monday’s episode, the Islanders, including Grace, were left speechless when he chose to ‘steal’ the model off Joey, although fans weren’t as gobsmacked as they’re all saying the same thing about Grace’s previous conversation with Konnor.
Earlier in the episode, viewers witnessed the two have a conversation, where Grace asked Konnor if there was anyone in a couple he’d like to talk to, as he admitted he wanted to get to know her.
She then proceeded to tell him that no one was ‘closed off’ and that she’d always be here for a chat.
However, Grace said in the beach hut that she gave him friendly advice, and that she didn’t realise it was herself that Konnor wanted, and was going to choose to couple up with.
“It was random but I commend Konnor for having the ba**s to do that. He doesn't care who's toes he's stepping on. As for Grace she knew exactly what she was doing - playing Konnor like that making out she's open then backtracking when he chose her,” wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Grace is defo slimy, she told Konnor she was open and even ask which girl in a strong couple would he go for, she planted the seed and he picked her,” another agreed.
A third penned: “Grace saying she didn’t know Konnor was into her when they had a whole conversation about 1. how she’s not closed off 2. said she would be open to getting to know him and 3. never actually shut him down is crazyyyy.”
“Grace is the one giving these boys or rather Joey a wrong message. She's coming across very available for the boys (Omar & Konnor). I hope she doesn't go to Joey and say Konnor is the one who approached her and was flirting as she's leaving that door open herself, said a fourth.
As Grace is now in a couple with Konnor, Jess, who was last to pick who she’d like to couple with, chose to couple up with Joey ‘until he gets his girl back’.
However, she later admitted she would have picked Ronnie if she had the chance to pick before Harriett Blackmore, who went on her first date with the football player.
All looked to be going swimmingly for the couple, who are back together after the exit of Tiffany Leighton, although Harriett didn’t look impressed when Jess claimed Ronnie admitted ‘he would have been all in for her’ had she picked him over Sean Stone at a previous recoupling.
