Love Islanders in tears as shock double dumping sends 'least favourite' couple packing

Friday night’s Love Island episode saw a savage twist where the public’s least favourite Islanders were brutally dumped from the villa.

At the end of Thursday night’s episode, the public were asked to vote for their favourite couple, and after the results, Harriet and Ronnie were dumped from the Island, leaving fellow Islanders in tears.

As Jessy and Trey had just recoupled and entered as new bombshells, they and their partners, Joey Essex and Jess White, were immune from the vote.

The shock dumping means the couple will miss out on the iconic Casa Amor segment which is set to start this Sunday, and fans are in shock.

"Howwww is Harriet out and Jess sat there as smug as anything?" questioned one fan.

"Omg NOT HARRIET AND RONNIE #loveIsland this make no sense! They were entertaining!!!!!" another exclaimed.

Harriet claimed Ronnie's behaviour was to blame for their exit, although the two did leave on good terms, saying they were happy to be leaving together. Ronnie even promised to visit Brighton to see his partner.

The previous dumping saw Islanders Tiffany Leighton and Omar Nyame sent packing as the ‘safe’ Islanders were forced to chose one girl and one boy to dump from the least voted couples.

Tiffany’s exit meant Harriet Blackmore could rekindle her relationship with Ronnie Vint, and the two seem to be going from strength to strength after viewers branded the footballer ‘wholesome’ for how he comforted the 24-year-old after her savage argument with Ciaran.

However, it looks like the couple's journey on the ITV2 show is over.

Elsewhere in Friday night’s episode, Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel’s relationship went to new heights after they said those all important three words to each other.

Plus, the moment everyone was waiting for, Joey and Jessy made their exit from the terrace after their sneaky kiss on Thursday night’s episode. Although they said they would keep the lip lock between themselves, nothing stays secret in the Love Island villa for long.

Joey couldn’t keep the secret to himself as he spilled all to Wil and Ronnie, and Jessy had trouble keeping things secret too, as she gushed all to Jess when she asked if the pair had kissed.

If that wasn’t enough drama, the Islanders now have Casa Amor to look forward to, and it looks like Joey’s head may be turned once again as another familiar face is set to enter the villa.

Emma Milton, who met Joey in Dubai and was also spotted getting cosy with Jack Grealish in Manchester is reported to be one of the girls joining for the infamous segment, and it looks like she may have her eyes set on him once again.
