Love Island bombshell Grace Jackson surprised her ex Joey Essex by walking into the Love Island villa - and it didn't take long for her to spill all about their fling.

In Friday night's episode, three bombshells entered the villa - including blonde Grace, who once dated the TOWIE star. Reacting to Grace's arrival, Joey turned to Sean and said: "I used to see that girl…that blonde girl."

Samantha then probed Joey about his history with Grace, asking: "Do you know her?" Joey sheepishly replied: "Yeah. It's a long story, man."

After settling into villa life, Grace soon opened up about her previous romance with Joey to the other girls. "We had a bit of a holiday romance and it carried on when we got back home," she said.

"It was quite intense. It ended frostily and we've not spoken since July last year," she added. "We haven't seen each other for a year. Then he messaged me a few months ago wanting to see me again."

Grace entered the villa in tonight's episode alongside Wil Anderson and Tiffany Leighton, with all three taking the opportunity to get to know the rest of the cast. Joey isn't the only islander that Grace knows, which the 25-year-old having previously caught the eye of Ronnie Vint - who liked a photo of her in a bikini last year.

Having a chat later on, Joey and Grace unpacked their previous relationship, with Joey apologising for the way their fling ended. "I was hoping to speak to you again," he added, with the two exchanging flirty glances.

As for the other bombshells, Wil, who hails from Whitley Bay, has revealed he is a “decent cook” who will be “ready to whip up some nice dishes in the villa” and he also explained what he thinks are his best attributes. “The obvious one is my height, I’m 6’4 which usually goes down well with the girls. I’d also say my smile and personality.

Tiffany is a 25 year old HR coordinator from Hertfordshire who says she is “very picky.” She also said: "If there is one thing my fellow Islanders need to know about me is that I always get what I want and I am ready to find love in the Villa, so watch out boys."

Love Island continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
