Kyle Walker to spend Christmas with estranged wife Annie Kilner amid Lauryn Goodman drama
Footballer Kyle Walker and his estranged wife, Annie Kilner, are expected to spend this Christmas together with their children although the couple themselves are reportedly not fully reconciled. While Annie has allowed the 34 year old Manchester City player to move back into the family home, the husband and wife are still dealing with the fallout following Lauryn Goodman’s revelations in January that Kyle is the father of her second child, one year old Kinara.
He is also father to Lauryn’s four year old son Kairo following an affair while he was on a break from his relationship with Annie in 2019. Meanwhile, Kyle and Annie, who have been together for 14 years and were married in 2022, have four children together, sons Roman, 12, Riaan, aged eight, six year old Reign and Rezon, who was born in April this year.
A source told the Daily Mail: “It has been a difficult road and they are up and down. At this point they do not know if they will be able to be fully reconciled. The ultimate goal is that the children are OK. They don't know if they are going to make it as a couple.”

The source added that Kyle and Annie are determined to be united for the children, with their divorce, instigated by Annie, currently on hold. “Despite everything which has been thrown at them, and not just by Lauryn, they are going forward amicably. It has not been easy for a number of reasons. However they have been a couple for 17 years so there is a lot of history. Kyle obviously has faults but he is a very involved father and the children are still very young. They have tremendous respect for each other as parents.”
OK! has reached out to Kyle and Annie’s representatives for comment.
Lauryn, who appeared on Celebs Go Dating earlier this year, has recently shared that she would like to “build bridges” with Kyle for the sake of their two children. In an interview with Closer Magazine, she said: “I have faith and hope that bridges will be built for the sake of Kairo and Kinara, because at the end of the day, we share two wonderful children together and life is just too short.”
“I'm hopeful their dad will come back to them and continue to build his relationship with them. I hope for Kyle's sake it is sooner rather than later, because Kairo is starting to understand now,” she added. “He asks for his daddy and he's starting to realise that maybe it's his choice [not to be around]. I always say that Daddy is busy playing football, but he's not believing my excuses anymore."
