When I first visited Cornwall I was completely blown away by the sheer beauty of the county. I am someone who, up until this moment, had spent all my summers since I was born travelling to Sicily to see my Italian family. It wasn’t until Cornwall that I realised just how beautiful my home country is.
Since my first visit, I’ve returned to Cornwall many times for beach holidays, walking trips, food pilgrimages and simply just to meet up with friends in a special location.
Through all these visits, I’ve realised that sometimes you don’t have to travel on a plane halfway across the world for beautiful beaches, tasty food and an Instagram feed to make your friends jealous. The holiday of your dreams could be a lot closer than you think.
