1. Walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame

The first place to head to is definitely Hollywood Boulevard to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This area is very touristy now and actually quite tacky, but it’s worth seeing for sure! There are 2,600 stars to stroll over and the entire walk covers over 15 blocks. Get your walking shoes on! If you are looking to locate a particular star, visit the Walk of Fame site to find out exactly where you need to go.
The first eight prototype coral terrazzo and brass 5-point stars were installed in 1958 – including Joanne Woodward and Burt Lancaster. Since then, there has been a constant stream of tourists; with around 10 million visiting annually now as of 2017.
