Emma Watson looked effortlessly chic in a glamorous fairytale gown at this evening's BAFTAs 2022.

The Harry Potter star, 31, floated down the red carpet at London's Royal Albert Hall in an incredible two-piece halter-neck black top and off-white tulle skirt which featured an elegant floor-skimming, train.

The backless top featured a deep plunging neckline and was daringly cut away to reveal the actor's bare back.

The star's layered tulle skirt was of an asymmetric length, cut shorter at the front to reveal her strappy, pointy, black sandals, which added a rockier edge to the floaty style.

The actor accessorised her ensemble with a pair of glittering, waterfall earrings and a collection of simple, yet elegant rings. A beaded clutch completed the chic look.

Watson styled her brunette locks in a loose, beachy, waves, while keeping the front slicked down with a series of pins to frame her petite features.

The unusual do gave a somewhat modern feel to the bobby pin hair trend that dominated the 90s, but then noughties and 90s fashion does seem to be having a moment right now.

Watson added to her glam red carpet look with a smokey-eye make-up palette, a soft bronze glow and a slick of nude lipgloss.

The Beauty And The Beast star appeared to be in good spirits as she was seen laughing and joking with fans before she floated up the red carpet and into the prestigious event.

The actor was in attendance at the Charles Finch and Chanel event at 5 Hertford Street in London's Mayfair ahead of the awards ceremony tonight.

For the event, she opted for a classic LBD – which featured sheer, cut-out detailing – worn with a long-line black blazer and a pair of £1,425 thigh-high striped boots from Jimmy Choo’s collaboration with Mugler.

The Harry Potter star, who wore her brunette hair in an elegant up-do, finished off her look with dainty jewellery and a quilted handbag.

Watson's stylish outfit comes after she turned heads in an ensemble she wore for a climate change event back in October.

She opted for a green and white floral patterned midi-length skirt with matching crop top.

It was made from recycled materials by the designer Emilia Wickstead, who shared a picture to Instagram.

However, it was deemed "inappropriate" by some social media users because it appeared to be cut to reveal the star's black bra.
