Anne Hathaway looks sensational in a shimmering mini dress
Anne Hathaway looked incredible as she stepped out on the red carpet on 16 March.
The star, known for her numerous film roles, looked fantastic as ever as she attended the premiere of her new film, The Idea of You, at the SXSW Conference and Festival at The Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas. Always one to bring glamorous looks to the red carpet, Anne chose a shimmering mini dress that made her the star of the show.
Wearing a design by French fashion house, Patou, Anne's stunning dress was composed of plenty of sparkly embellishment and she added a 60s twist by opting for platform heeled sandals. The 41-year-old actress also sported a suitably gorgeous beauty look, wearing her signature brunette hair in waves and opting for natural makeup.
And of course, it wouldn't be a red carpet event without an outfit change! At the same event, Anne took to the stage to give a talk with her co-star, Nicholas Galitzine, at the premiere. Wearing jeans for a more casual vibe, Anne paired them with a statement white top adorned with white feathers. Feather designs have been hugely popular on both dresses and tops for the last few seasons — and Anne showed how to channel the trend perfectly.
The Idea of You is an adaptation of Robinne Lee's novel. It follows 40-year-old single mum Solène (Anne Hathaway) unexpectedly hooking up with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of boy band August Moon, one of the most populay boy bands on the planet. It will begin streaming on Amazon Prime on May 2.
