"It Tastes Like A Barnyard": People Are Sharing Their Most Unpopular Food Opinion, And Some Of These Are Unhinged

We're all entitled to our opinions. That's what makes us human. And when it comes to food, people have some very strong feelings that you might even call controversial. Here are some food opinions that will probably give you some big feelings.

."Celery is the devil's vegetable. Its stringy, pungent, and tastes like I just ate a mouthful of dirt. Its in basically everything because the French use it in their Mirepoix with onion and carrots, so it's extremely standard in dishes, but I'll taste it and spit it out every single time."

."I horrify wine-lovers when I tell them I’d rather drink the grape juice before it went bad."

."I think goat cheese is revolting and get criticism for it as if I don’t have a sophisticated enough palate. It tastes like a barnyard. Would you like to eat in a barnyard? No. Well, I don’t want one in my mouth."

."I cannot stand ziti as a pasta shape. There’s zero texture, nothing holding the sauce on, nothing to make it interesting. It's just a slimy noodle that slides around."

."IMO, potatoes, no matter the form, taste generally the same. Don't get me wrong, I love some potatoes, but just like Tom Hanks' acting, they are the same no matter what they are trying to be."

."Raw onions should be banned from 9/10 dishes. Nothing ruins a meal faster for me then seeing tiny pieces of raw onion everywhere. Unless it is cooked into the meal, I tend to hate it!"

."I don't understand the obsession of eating anything with too much pepper or chili etc. It is so hot it is flavorless, makes my nose run, eyes water, and causes indigestion."

."When pancakes, waffles, or French toast get saturated with syrup, the texture is disgusting. These foods are far better topped with something less likely to absorb, such as peanut butter, jam, whipped cream, or Nutella."
