The Super Bowl halftime show outfits we're still thinking about
Super Bowl LIX is taking place this coming Sunday, 9 February. And as we gear up to watch a heated game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, we also can’t help but feel eager for the fashion looks that will make their debut at the event. From celebrity fans, like Taylor Swift, dressed in their best game-day fits, to musical performers set to take the stage in fabulous looks, it’s sure to be an evening filled with excitement and style.

Usher and Alicia Keys performed at Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Usher wore all white, while Keys was striking in a vibrant red Dolce & Gabbana corset catsuit covered in jewels and featuring a billowing organza cape.
Rihanna in 2023
Rihanna performed at Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona. She wowed in a monochrome red look from Loewe and two custom-made coats from Alaïa by Pieter Mullier. As for her chunky sneakers, they were from the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon collab.

Shakira and Jennifer Lopez performed at Super Bowl LIV in Miami, Florida. The superstars coordinated in metallic ensembles. The She Wolf singer opted for a golden bodysuit and jacket from Peter Dundas, as well as golden Adidas trainers. The On The Floor singer choose a silver catsuit and matching heeled boots custom-made by Versace.

Lady Gaga performed at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas. She shimmered in a Swarovski-covered iridescent Versace bodysuit and matching boots.
Beyoncé in 2016
Beyoncé performed at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California. Her black bodysuit was designed by Ashton Michael, her leather jacket and gold harness by DSquared2, and her black-and-gold boots by Christian Louboutin. The armour-esque fit was an homage to Michael Jackson’s military-style jacket from his Super Bowl XXVII performance.
“She has always said he is her biggest music influence, and Michael’s halftime performance marked a change in global interest for the halftime show,” stylist Marni Senofonte, who helped style Bey for the show, told Essence.
Destiny’s Child in 2013
Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé, and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child performed during Super Bowl XLVII at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The three singers coordinated in black leather looks and knee-high boots.
Madonna in 2012
Madonna performed at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Indiana. The icon’s look fell somewhere between Roman empress and Ancient Egyptian goddess.
Wearing a gilded black mini dress, leather boots, leather opera gloves, and a dramatic gold headpiece, the diva was carried onto the stage by an army of Spartan-inspired soldiers.
The ensemble was designed by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy.

Fergie and Slash in 2011
The two performed at Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, Texas. Fergie wore a black leather mini dress with silver armor embellished with tiny lights that sparkled during the show, plus tall black leather lace-up boots. The outfit was designer by Anouk Wipprecht and B. Akerlund.

Prince performed at Super Bowl XLI in Miami, Florida. He stayed true to his eccentric style in a bright turquoise suit, orange shirt, and his iconic purple guitar.

Shania Twain performed in a jaw-dropping Matrix-style floor-length leather coat and a matching cutout bodice and thigh-high boots designer by Marc Bouwer. The rest of her look included a metallic silver bra, a black miniskirt with a crisscrossing decoration, and a diamond chandelier necklace with matching earrings.
