Strictly's Janette Manrara shares adorable new snap of daughter Lyra as she cherishes 'sacred moments'
Janette Manrara has shared an adorable picture of her daughter Lyra after enjoying "sacred moments" with her family. The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer posted a picture of her daughter, who she welcomed into the world last summer, playing in a ball pit.
On her story, the mum shared that Lyra had been playing with her cousins Zala and Tisa, who had came to visit. The children were filmed playing with stickers , putting make-up on each other and playing with toys in a ball pit.
Earlier that day she revealed that Aljaz's sister and her husband had come over to stay with their two daughters. Posting a picture on a day out with her sister-in-law, her husband and their children, Janette said: "Had a beautiful day out w/ our nieces and @aljazskorjanec sister @laraljubic and her husband @nejcljubic.
"It’s so wonderful to have had them over these past few days. Lyra has really enjoyed spending time with/ her cousins Zala and Tisa.
"We want her to grow up feeling the warmth of family as much as possible. It’s hard being away from our families. They may be far apart, but they will always be so close in their hearts."
After a busy weekend spending time with her family, Janette told her followers that such days are "sacred" and their family prioritise "quality time" over quantity.
Posting a video update to her fans she said: "I'm tired, so Lyra's asleep, the girls and Aljaz sister and her husband have gone and the house is the quietest its been in the last couple of days.
"But I really miss the noise. It was so nice for Lyra to spend time with her cousins for us to spend time with our nieces and our family.
"It's so hard to have them so far away all the time so when they are here or we're over there it's very sacred moments for us. But in our family we say quality over quantity and this was definitely some beautiful quality time and special memories for Lyra."
Janette Manrara is open with her followers about her family life while still working in the showbiz industry. The couple, who were both professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing before Janette took over as host on spin-off show It Takes Two and Aljaz stepped down to become a full time dad, welcomed baby Lyra in July last year.
Janette has plenty of family spread out across the globe, with Janette's family in Miami and Aljaz's in Slovenia. This weekend Aljaz's sister and her husband arrived to spend time together as a family.
