Sarah Ferguson makes astonishing Love Island confession live on Loose Women

Sarah Ferguson made a hilarious Love Island confession live on Loose Women, as she joked about coupling up with Joey Essex. The Duchess of York, 64, appeared on the ITV daytime show on 5 June, where she discussed a variety of topics including politics, her journey with skin cancer, and even Love Island.

As producers played a clip of TOWIE legend and Love Island bombshell Joey in the villa, the panel began discussing how he mentioned he was searching for his 'Queen.' When Christine Lampard joked that Sarah might be the royal woman Joey is hoping for, the Duchess had a hilarious response.

She quipped: "I should be there. I love a nice toyboy," which left the rest of the panel and the studio audience erupting in laughter.

Sarah also revealed that she will probably need treatment for 'the rest of her life' after being diagnosed with melanoma. At the start of the year, it was revealed that Sarah had been diagnosed with the aggressive form of skin cancer just six months after undergoing a successful operation to treat breast cancer.

Speaking of her skin damage over the years, Fergie added: "I am still receiving treatment. I think I will be having treatment for probably the rest of my life for the melanoma. My mum threw me out in 1960 with Nivea on because she didn't know back in those days. I do, however, now have a lot of skin damage from my lifestyle."

The conversation later turned to Corrie, with Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah admitting that she would love a role on the ITV soap.

She also spoke fondly of the late Queen's own love for the show, telling the audience: "She absolutely LOVED Corrie." Christine Lampard asked: "On that note, are you wanting a little cameo on Corrie?" before the Duchess of York replied 'yeah' as she was drowned out by the cheers of the delighted audience.

Fergie quickly managed expectations as she added: "No, I'm not wanting it. I'm going to get it." Sally Dynevor, known for playing Sally Metcalfe, then joked: "Me and Sarah have been chatting, and she's going to come along to the street and be my long-lost other sister."

Fergie, who appeared thrilled with the fun idea, responded: "Would I get a cup of tea?" to which Sally confirmed, "Well, you'd get a mug of tea. The Queen didn't have a mug, did she? She wouldn't have had a mug."
