Ryan Thomas' daughter 'winds up' Love Island star in sweet post as they fly back from 40th birthday bash
Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has been busy celebrating his 40th birthday with friends and family in Portugal and while the celebrations may be over, it hasn't stopped his oldest daughter Scarlett from having a bit of fun.
The teenager, 15, has been playing pranks on her uncle, Love Island star Scott Thomas, as the family flies back to the UK. Posting on her Instagram story, Scarlett filmed sleeping Scott, 35, with a pouty filter on his face.
Sharing the funny video, Scarlett captioned it: "Flyin back home w uncle scott widin him up [sic] he loves me rlly [laughing face emoji] @scott.thomas." Scott was quick to share the video himself, captioning it: "Let a man sleep," alongside laughing face, plane and heart emojis.
The family have been celebrating in style over the weekend as Ryan Thomas marked his 40th birthday with an epic weekend away in Portugal. Organised by Ryan's fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, 32, the party saw friends and family party the night away - and even featured a performance from Scarlett herself, who performed the hit Shallow from A Star Is Born as proud dad Ryan watched on.
Ryan's famous twin brothers fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, 32, were in attendance, as well as Adam's wife Caroline and their two children Teddy and Elsie-Rose. Meanwhile, Ryan's children Roman, four, and Lilah, 17 months - who he shares with Lucy - joined their older sister Scarlett, who he shares with ex Tina O'Brien, for the festivities.
Other celebrities attending Ryan's birthday bash included former Made in Chelsea star and This Morning regular Ashley James and her boyfriend Tommy Andrews, as well as EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and TOWIE's Jake Hall. Hattie Dynevor, daughter of Corrie's Sally, was spotted at the bash, along with PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kamani.
Ryan shares a number of videos and photos on social media from his big day and thanked Lucy in a gushing post. "You made my 40th unforgettable. Love you my angel," the dad-of-three penned and tagged Lucy. Other guests shared many snaps from the weekend, including Ashley, 37, who said she's had "so much fun" in Portugal.
The mum-of-two penned: "We came on our first childfree weekend away to celebrate @ryanthomas84 40th birthday and it was so much fun! One of the funnest nights ever celebrating you @ryanthomas84 ! What an amazing bunch of people! You're very loved! @lucymeck1 you smashed every detail - please can you organise all parties going forward!"
