There’s nothing more relaxing than reading a book with a glass of wine (perhaps throw a warm bath in there as well).

Though in this world of convenience we live in, why not let your bottle of wine pick your reading material for you?

Instead of having to pick a book or magazine to pair with your wine yourself, a new bottle of plonk available has short stories attached to its label.

Brand and product design agency Reverse Innovations and winery Matteo Correggia have teamed up to create Librottiglia, a line of wines that provides you with a short story to read as you drink.

We’re not talking about a randomly-picked short story, either – each tale is paired perfectly with each wine to, according to its website, “create a perfectly balanced oeno-literary experience based on the sensory impressions and scenarios imagined in the books”.

So no need to spend hours trawling the internet finding a film to watch, or (lord help us) browsing our bookcases.

Simply untie the beautifully-designed label, crack open the bottle, and get reading.
