Nicole Kidman shone in a floor-length golden gown as she was joined by her husband and their two teenage daughters, as well as other family members, for a special red carpet event.
Nicole Kidman was honoured with a Life Achievement Award by the American Film Institute (AFI), and the occasion was marked by a star-studded evening at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday (27 April). Nicole's daughters made their red carpet debut on the night, as Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13 (alongside cousin Sybella Hawley), joined their mum for the milestone award.
Nicole was glowing in a stunning gold sequin dress by Balanciaga (complete with a mermaid-like train) and looked every inch the Hollywood movie star.
In a speech, Nicole referenced her family's support on the evening saying; "Big, big love. And then right there is the love of my life, and the loves of my life. My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they're here, Sunday and Faith."
She added that it was "a privilege to make films. And glorious to have made films and television with these storytellers who allowed me to run wild and be free and play all of these unconventional women."
Famous friends and colleagues including Michelle Pfieffer, Reese Witherspoon and Naomi Watts also turned out to support Nicole's milestone achievement. Previous winners of the prestigious AFI accolade include Julie Andrews, Diane Keaton, Denzel Washington and George Clooney.
