In the reel, Keisha started off by overlapping one edge of the wrapping paper, writing: "My grandma taught me this trick!" The other side is then tucked over followed by the construction of a pocket by lifting the lower segment. She meticulously folds in the top corners, secures the upper part down with tape, positions the present into the formed pocket, and neatly folds the 'lid' on top.
Keisha doesn't stop there though, with a swift addition of two punched holes atop the gift. This allows her to run red ribbon through, fashioning an elegant handle and topping it all off with a decorative bow.
The comment section lit up with praise and excitement over the innovative approach to dressing up their gifts. One follower commented: "I was just looking for a cute way to gift wrap a couple of tickets without a boring envelope. Thanks for this tip!" While another chimed in with their approval, saying: "Ok that's cute!"
Others expressed their affinity for similar techniques, as one person said: "I do something similar love it," and plenty were eager to try it themselves, as someone else wrote: "Nice! I will definitely use this technique!"
However, despite the positive comments, some people were confused about how to add the bow at the end. One person wrote: "I can't figure out what you did with the bow. Would love a slower tutorial on it." Another added: "Love this. Can we pls get a video on how to make the bow? ".
Someone else also complained that the hack 'uses so much more paper' than simply wrapping it, however, that may be the price you have to pay if you want a gift with some extra special wrapping!
