This Morning bombshell as star reveals she was cheated on - saying boyfriend was 'liking underwear models on Insta'

This Morning star Isla Traquair has revealed she was cheated on by her ex-partner, who she caught liking photos of an underwear model on social media.

The former ITV and Channel 5 news presenter appeared on the ITV daytime programme on Tuesday, June 25 to discuss 'micro-cheating' - a term that refers to small breaches of trust in a relationship that don't pass the threshold into a physical affair.

Isla detailed her own experience of the betrayal with an ex-boyfriend, who she said tried to justify his behaviour.

Speaking to presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, she said: "I'm not someone who's typically jealous or whatever, but let's just say I had an ex who cheated and then I literally found out he had been liking a lot of stuff online that wasn't appropriate.

"He said: 'Oh, she's a friend of mine.' I said: 'But you don't like pictures of her dog. It's just her in a bikini.'

"'I'm just giving her an ego boost,' he told me. She's got tens of thousands of people liking her photos - she doesn't need you."

The Scottish beauty added: "Every communication is a communication."

Isla isn't the only This Morning star whose relationship has been rocked by infidelity.

In April, Michelle Elman that she'd split from her fiancé after just 24 hours after discovering he'd been cheating on her.

In her original break-up post, Michelle shared that she'd been contacted by her fiancé's affair partner on Instagram after the other woman realised they were in a relationship with the same man. Michelle described her as a "lovely woman", and said she had no idea the man she was dating was already in a relationship.

"The main thing people say with cheating is 'did you know' and obviously not because I said yes to marrying him... If someone wants to actively deceive you they will," she said. "When it comes to life coaches there's this illusion that we're perfect, that we're all knowing or we have our lives together, that's not true, I've always said we are five steps ahead and that's how we are able to teach people."

A visibly emotional Michelle adopted a pragmatic approach to the heartbreak, saying: "My own life coach says we never let a good crisis go to waste, and this is a crisis."
