Michelle Keegan reveals 2024 highlight - and it’s not expecting a baby
Mother-to-be Michelle Keegan has revealed one of her main highlights of 2024, and it’s not that she’s expecting a baby! In a hilarious Instagram post Michelle showed a clip of Fool Me Once, one of the biggest Netflix shows ever from January this year.
In the Netflix show that drew in millions, Michelle played Maya, a grieving widow; Michelle worked alongside Joanna Lumley, who was not a particularly pleasant on-screen mother-in-law. Looking back, Michelle posted a clip of the pair of them together along with the hilarious caption: “One of my highlights of 2024… being told f*%k off by Dame Joanna Lumley” along with a laughing and hands in the air emoji.
Michelle and her husband Mark Wright revealed on Sunday that they are expecting their first child and will welcome a baby in 2025. In a picture of the couple on the beach, the actress, 37, cradled her growing bump while dressed in a white maxi skirt and matching crop top - as husband Mark stood across from her and beamed.

Captioning the picture, Michelle wrote: "2025 is going to be a special one for us…" Michelle and Mark were met with many sweet comments including one from Mark’s good friend James ‘Arg’ Argent who said: "I love you and I’m so happy for you both," the former TOWIE star told the parents-to-be. "You're going to be amazing parents. I can’t wait to be an Uncle."
Back in April, Michelle celebrated the fact that Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once, the show where she played the leading lady, became one of the biggest thrillers ever. Taking to Instagram, Michelle shared a glimpse of her joy with a snapshot featuring a decadent iced cake adorned with the words "Fool Me Once 6th most watched ever on Netflix."
The carousel of images that followed showcased behind-the-scenes moments from the show's set, adding a personal touch to the milestone celebration. In her caption, Michelle expressed her gratitude, stating: "Celebratory [cake] is in order. #FOOLMEONCE made No.6 on Netflix’ Most Popular List (OF. ALL. TIME) based on 98,200,000 views in our first 91 days!!" She added: “Thank you for everyone who has watched & is watching”.
Harlan Coben’s new show, Missing You, drops on New Year’s Day with Netflix hoping it will be as big as Fool Me Once. Taking over the leading role is Rosalind Eleazar who reveals that she never felt any pressure because she got the role before the show ‘even came out’.
