Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright's baby's gender 'let slip' by pal
Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright's close pal has seemingly confirmed the sex of their baby. The couple, both 37, took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the news with a stunning snap as the actress lovingly cradled her baby bump. As fans and famous pals flooded the comments with their congratulations, Michelle and Mark's friend Dylan Hunt, who owns Essex restaurant Sheesh, appeared to let the cat out of the bag.
The official account of Chigwell's Sheesh restaurant, owned by Dylan Hunt and frequented by Mark and Michelle, joked, "Make sure he's Good Looking and Rich, then I might let him take Gia out" - a playful nod to Dylan's daughter, Gia. The comment didn't go unnoticed by the couple's followers, with one replying: "so it's a boy lol."
Most recently, the Wright family celebrated Mark's father's 68th birthday at the Essex restaurant. Michelle was spotted concealing her baby bump during the outing, where the couple had a close call with Mark's ex-fiancée Lauren Goodger. Mark and Lauren, 38, were in a relationship for ten years before they split in 2012. Mark then started dating Michelle and they tied the knot in 2015.

To avoid any awkwardness, Mark and Michelle made a discreet entrance through a fire exit to dodge Lauren. Their Range Rover was later brought around to the car park for a quick getaway. Despite it being a decade since their breakup, it seems Mark is still keen to avoid any potential reunion with Lauren.
A source revealed that Michelle and Mark "kept their pregnancy under wraps for quite some time" as they wanted to savour the moment privately. "Starting a family has been something they've longed for," they explained. Speaking to The Sun, the insider added: "They're both in fantastic places in their careers and their Essex family home is all finished. The timing couldn't have been more perfect." They also mentioned that Mark and Michelle's "immediate family have known for a while."
Michelle kicked off her acting career on TV playing Tina McIntyre in ITV soap opera Coronation Street, joining the cast in 2008. After leaving in 2014, she went on to star in the popular army drama Our Girl as corporal Georgie Lane and in the comedy-drama Brassic as Erin Croft. She is set to return as Kate Thorne for another series of Ten Pound Poms, a drama about a group of Brits who decide to leave post-war Britain. After his stint on reality TV, Mark gained even more fame when he finished as a runner-up on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011 and made it to the finals of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in 2014. He's now gracing the airwaves as a presenter on Heart radio's Saturday afternoon slot.
