Mark Wright's response after Michelle Keegan baby snap causes a stir
Former TOWIE star Mark Wright was supported by wife Michelle Keegan and their adorable baby nephews while running the London Marathon on Sunday, 21 March, as part of FLORA's Making Healthy Switches campaign.
However, one week before the big event took place in the capital city, 37 year old Mark's Instagram photo featuring the newest member of his family being cuddled by ex-Coronation Street star Michelle, 36, caused an even bigger stir online, with fans asking the couple when they were planning on becoming parents themselves.
Mark has now spoken out on the sweet snap in an interview with Express.co.uk, where he shared how much it meant to both him and his other half to finally meet their youngest 'warrior" nephew, Dustin, who was born prematurely this month.
Reflecting on the moment, proud uncle Mark said: "It was amazing to meet him for the first time."
"We've been waiting for that for a long time, so it was a very lovely feeling to meet him, for sure. We love our nephews, it's amazing," the TV presenter gushed.
Mark, who was interviewed alongside his mum Carol Wright, dad Mark Wright Sr, and brother Josh Wright, ahead of their marathon run together, also spoke of how "emotional" it would be to see the rest of their family on the sidelines, cheering them on.
He revealed to Express.co.uk: "All of our family and friends will be there; my nephews, and my mum and dad's grandkids, my brother and my sister's kids. They've got some tops that say 'Good luck, Nan and Grandad'. So they're all gonna be there supporting us. It's gonna be great."
He then said that seeing his family on the sidelines would be "emotional, but also really motivating".
It comes after fans were left divided in the comments section of Mark's post featuring Michelle and baby Dustin, who is the second child of his brother Josh and wife Hollie.
The photo shared with Mark's 1.8 million followers was captioned: "We finally met our little premature warrior Dustin. He's perfect and was so worth the wait."
"Little Josh seems so big now when holding them together. Love our little nephews to pieces."
One fan asked: "Suits you both BUT WHEN are you gonna have your own," while others shared the same sentiment.
Another added: "When are you and Mark and I have one? It's about time."
The comments sparked a debate, with a third fan hitting back: "Why do people think they have the right to question a couple about when they are going to have their own kids? Not your business."
A fourth fan agreed: "I could have put money on the "when are you having one?" Questions. There are millions of reasons why people might not have children including that they don't want them xx."
