Madonna's daughter Lourdes hits the beach, proudly flaunts her armpit hair

Armpit hair, don’t care! Lourdes Leon is currently enjoying a sun-drenched holiday in Miami where she’s proudly rocking her armpit hair. Because why not?

The 20-year-old daughter of Madonna was sporting a cute black two-piece bikini as she hung out with friends (and her rumoured beau) on the sand. But while her incredible beach body would have most certainly drawn attention, no doubt it will be her unshaven pits that will cause the biggest buzz.

Holding up an arm to shield her face from the blazing sun, Lourdes underam hair was on display for all to see, but why the heck shouldn’t it be?

Lourdes is just one of many young stars who refuse to conform to certain body hair removal standards. Miley Cyrus, and ‘Girls’ actress, Jemima Kirke have all proudly flaunted unshaven underarms and back in January Jemima’s sister, actress Lola Kirke contrasted her princess-like Andrew Gn gown with some nicely grown body hair at the Golden Globes.

Earlier this year Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson, famously shut down body shamers who’d taunted her over an image she’d shared of her armpit hair. The 18-year-old posted a video on her Instagram stories explaining how baffled she was over trolls’ angry comments about her body hair.

“I didn’t realise that people were going to get so upset over my armpit hair. I didn’t realise that was such an issue. It is so funny. People are really mad,” she said.

“I love hair, and sweat, and BO. I f***ing love it, I think it’s great. Some people think that it’s like super disgusting, especially on girls, but every human body does it. It’s natural,” she continued.

And its not just new Hollywood who are getting in on the natural pits act, Drew Barrymore, Michelle Rodriguez and Julia Roberts have also previously rocked unshaven underarms.

Even Lourdes mum has proudly flouted her au natural armpits on social media. Back in 2014, Madonna famously shared an Instagram post which saw her posing with her arm raised alongside the caption “Long hair….Don’t Care!!!!!!”

It’s not the first time Lourdes has flaunted her own armpit hair either. Last year, she posted a picture to Instagram with the caption, “#rebelheart the reactions lol” with the unicorn, love heart and squirrel emoji. And her mum also shared a shot of the young star showing off her unshaven pits last year.
