'I love the Traitors - but there's one huge thing that needs to be changed'

Much like the rest of Great Britain, I've been glued to the edge of my seat with the current series of The Traitors on BBC One.

Right from the very first episode, the twists and turns have been thrown at us, with the first ten minutes claiming three victims in the form of Fozia, Alexander and Jack.

I'm personally gutted the show only has three episodes left and the absence of it will surely leave a big void in all of our hearts.

However, despite being a fan, I feel like the BBC are missing a trick with one aspect of the show that they could potentially incorporate next year.

BBC, if you're reading this, I think that in such a game full of treachery, lies and manipulation, the banished contestants shouldn't be able to leave so easily.

As ardent fans are aware, a roundtable occurs every evening where a deliberation happens about who people are suspecting are Traitors.

The contestants are then required to write down the suspect on a mini blackboard before delivering the announcement one by one.

The person with the most votes then stands up and reveals if they're a Faithful or a Traitor before being banished from the castle forever.

But can you imagine how delicious it would be if unbeknownst to the Faithfuls, the banished star hasn't quite left yet.

During the nightly Traitors meeting, the banished Faithful should appear and give the shocked Traitors the shock of their lives.

For them too it would be a shock as it would confirm to them who the Traitors are, putting all of their suspicions to rest.

In one final act of revenge, they should be able to submit a case to the Traitors for one of their co-stars they should consider murdering that night.

Of course, the Traitors do not have to follow through with the suggestion, but us viewers would get a chance to see how they feel about their pals who may have betrayed them.

Often at times, those closest to one another in the game will have to turn on one another, taking betrayal to an all-time high in the castle.

The ultimate betrayal occurred this series with Maia choosing to vote her sister Armani out of the show before being murdered by the evil Traitors that night.

Murder, banishment, lies, manipulation and treachery, how about we add an element of revenge to the game?

It remains to be seen whether the Traitors or Faithfuls will bag the huge cash prize but one thing's for sure, this series of The Traitors is one for the books.

The Traitors continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
