Love Island fans spot new bombshell's secret link to EastEnders star Bobby Brazier
With the drama and romance in Love Island heating up by the minute, two new bombshells have entered the iconic ITV2 villa in a bid to find ‘the one’. On Wednesday, 19 June’s episode, viewers at home watched as Matilda June-Draper and Konnor Ewudzi made their way into the villa where they immediately stirred things up.
But while new girl Matilda’s connection to fellow Islander Ronnie Vint has already been known, Ronnie isn’t the only familiar face that the 24 year old has a link to. On the outside, Matilda has amassed over 11,000 followers on Instagram - one of whom is EastEnders’ Bobby Brazier.
Matilda also follows Bobby on the social media platform, with the soap star previously liking some of her posts.
The recruitment specialist’s secret link to Bobby comes as social media users took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss their thoughts on her existing connection to Islander Ronnie after he revealed that she’d been seeing his “pal for months”.
“ANOTHER GIRL that knows Ronnie from outside???,” wrote one. A second added: “I can't believe it. When has someone known 2 people on Love Island???”
Meanwhile a third commented: “This years Love island is too funny like how many knows one person like Ronnie. I bet there will be more girls for him in casa amor”.
As one of the latest bombshells to make their way onto the show, Matilda was wined and dined by Islanders of her choosing and chose to get to know currently single boys Omar Nyame, Sean Stone and Wil Anderson.
Prior to her entrance, Samantha Kenny made an emotional exit from the show on Tuesday, 18 June after she was left single in a shock recoupling. As she departed Love Island, she said: “Obviously I am devastated to leave all of the girls behind but I am very excited now to see what my future holds and look forward to seeing what is next.
“I was true to myself and didn't feel like it was a waste of my time because I followed what I felt was right for me. When it comes to Joey, I think if I knew what I know now, I perhaps would have done things differently.”
Samantha’s mum also opened up about her daughter’s exit and expressed that she thought Joey Essex, who she had previously been coupled up with, had “ruined” her experience in the villa. “You ruined my daughter's two weeks in the villa,” she wrote on the Love Island Instagram account.
