Loose Women's Coleen Nolan shares meaning behind sweet new tattoo live on ITV

Loose Women's very own Coleen Nolan has just flaunted her latest tattoo on the show, and it's got a heartfelt backstory.

The 59 year old TV personality was chatting with her co-hosts Judi Love, Janet Street-Porter, and Christine Lampard this Tuesday (June 25) when the topic of tattoos cropped up. Coleen, who had previously been quite anti-tattoo, confessed that she's had a change of heart now that she's older.

Coleen believes that tattoos should carry a deep personal meaning, and with that sentiment, she proudly displayed her new wrist tattoo to the audience. The adorable design features a dog and cat sitting side by side in harmony.

However, the big reveal took a humorous turn when Janet admitted her initial confusion over the design. She quipped, "I thought it was part of the male anatomy but I was looking at it upside down."

Back in 2021, Coleen surprised everyone with her first-ever tattoo a charming little teapot on her arm. During the show, she revealed that her children persuaded her to get inked, and she chose the teapot because she represents the teapot to her kids' tea cups. While Janet found the children's tattoos amusing, she was genuinely taken aback by Coleen's own tattoo reveal.

Coleen Nolan shared a heartwarming moment on the show, revealing her latest tattoo a teapot. She explained with a smile, "They have all got it because when they look at it, because I'm a tea addict at home, so they all said, 'Mum, whatever happens.'" Wrapping up the big reveal, she proudly announced, "I had a teapot," showing off the new ink to everyone's delight.

Judi Love couldn't contain her joy, exclaiming, "Babes, that is so sweet. Honestly, that's so lovely." Coleen added a touch of humour, saying, "So I am the teapot to their teacup, and I didn't tell any of you."

Janet Street-Porter gave the tattoo a dubious glance, while Ruth Langsford was curious about whether it was genuine.

With pride in her voice, Coleen affirmed, "They all said mum, you have to have something now and I'm the teapot to their tea! " Ruth, still unsure, pressed on, "Is that real? You're not joshing us, you've not drawn that on with makeup?"

Coleen reassured her co-hosts, "I swear on my life look, it's real. It took about 10 minutes." The conversation turned to the special connection the tattoo symbolised for Coleen and her children, leading Janet to admit her astonishment at the revelation.

Ruth then posed a question to Janet, "What do you think of Coleen's teapot, has it made you think about maybe having a tattoo? ". Janet was lost for words, finally responding, "I can't, I'm speechless actually. I can't believe it."
