Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has set tongues wagging this week with hints of a major cheating scandal involving herself and her hubby Andre Gray. In her sizzling new single Forbidden Fruit, Leigh-Anne spills the tea about having an affair while she was still with a former beau.

Since the solo release, the Little Mix fandom has been buzzing with speculation that she's referring to her three-year romance with Jordan Kiffin, especially since she got together with footballer Andre in the same year they split. The song's racy lyrics have fans raising their eyebrows: "Where do I begin? Woke up in somebody's bed, oh no. Got one I should stay with and one I should stay away from. He was doing him and I wasn't really innocent, oh no."

Leigh-Anne herself added further fuel to the fire, when she previously opened up about the inspiration behind the track, sharing: "I wrote Forbidden Fruit at a writing camp in Miami, and it's about how Andre and I met." She continues to turn up the heat in the second verse, singing: "Devil in a dress, had you powerless knew it wasn't right soon as we left together. Broke a couple hearts just to be forever, if they mad, whatever," reports the Mirror.

OK! has reached out to Leigh-Anne for comment.

Earlier this year, Leigh-Anne teased her fans with news of upcoming music, as she took to Instagram to announce: "I've been writing and recording so much, working on my album. But while making it, I've made a collection of songs that fit together in their own world. The first song is coming next week. S***'s about to get very real."

Allegedly, the pop star had to dip into her own pocket for the release of her latest tracks and to keep her solo career afloat due to difficulties securing the funding she initially hoped for. A source reveals: "There was so much excitement around Leigh-Anne's solo career but that seemed to wane after the first two tracks. Warner heavily backed Don't Say Love for her debut but were disappointed with how it charted. The same was true with My Love."

An insider spilled the beans saying: "There's no doubt that Leigh-Anne is a huge talent and solo success can take time to build. "But lately she's struggled to get the financial backing she hoped for to the extent that she has even contributed herself to the campaign. And now her latest track, Stealin Love, is being released with no video."

Following Little Mix's break in 2022 to halt their combined music efforts, each member has been trailblazing their own path and focusing on individual projects - with Perrie Edwards also exploring a solo music journey like Leigh-Anne.
