Kourtney Kardashian on filming The Kardashians three months postpartum
Kourtney Kardashian has shared some behind-the-scenes promo shots from The Kardashians, season five. During the post, the reality star, who gave birth to her fourth child, a son named Rocky in November 2023, opened up about filming for the show three months postpartum.
Taking to Instagram, the 45-year-old said: "BTS shooting all the promos for our @kardashianshulu billboards n' stuff for season 5! I was 3 months postpartum and not feeling quite ready for a big shoot like this where there's lots and lots of people watching me all day."
Kourt, who looked stunning in a fitted jumper dress, complete with oversized sleeves and a Bardot neckline, admitted that even though her "baby boy was with [her] all day on set," she struggled with the back-to-work transition.
She said: "It's not the same when I'm covered in makeup, in high heels and wearing a dress versus our snuggly days at home in pajamas." However, she noted that lately she's been "shifting" her mindset to remind herself of the positives.
The Poosh founder confessed: "I am so blessed to be able to bring my baby to work. How fun to get to be glammed up when I've been home for months in pajamas. How blessed to get to work alongside my sisters and mom…we really have so much fun together!"
Concluding the post with "what a beautiful life," fans flocked to the comment section to commend Kourtney for her honesty and vulnerability online. Plus, to thank her "on behalf of postpartum moms everywhere."
"What a beautiful example of vulnerability and courage you're setting for all mommas," one person said, as another penned: "You look STUNNING. And thank you for showing yourself postpartum. Mums everywhere appreciate it."
