Two BBC actresses showed off their new look for an EastEnders episode - looking completely different to their characters' usual attire.

Shona McGarty and Jacqueline Jossa posted a picture of themselves clad in black and white outfits and wigs that made the pair of them almost unrecognisable. Their fancy dress was part of an EastEnders episode for Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson’s (James Farrar) joint stag and hen - aka ‘sten’ - do.

Shona went for a long black slit dress paired with sheer tights and black heels, while Jacqueline wore a white co-ord set, consisting of a corset top, white skirt, white latex boots, and a mini white jacket

Shona posted a pic of them backstage with the caption: "A pregnant Angelina and posh spice walk into a bar..."

They weren’t the only characters dressing up for the joint stag and hen do, Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) came to the pub dressed as the Flintstones in caveman attire.

Whilst, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) kept himself very on-brand as he turned up in a mock police costume, making a jape at his career in the force.

Callum Highway (Tony Clay) came as a prisoner and Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) had a 70's disco look.

During the episode on Thursday 16 May, Whitney was in full labour and went to the hospital to deliver her baby - after being let out of the taco van.

However, when Whitney got to the hospital, she was in for a shock. Whitney learned that the midwife delivering her baby would be Nurse Lynsey - the midwife who delivered Peach, the baby she was forced to abort and give birth to after she was diagnosed with Edward's Syndrome.

Luckily, Whitney delivered a healthy baby girl who she went on to call Dolly. But there is still a twist yet to have as Whitney’s partner Zack is still hiding his affair with Lauren.

In next week's episode beginning on Monday 20 May, Whitney and Zack prepare to tie the knot. At the ceremony, Whitney walks down the aisle with baby Dolly. Britney Wainwright (Lola Campbell) joins them at the altar as the pair say their vows, but Britney can’t contain herself and reveals that Zack and Lauren slept together.

With Whitney set to leave EastEnders very soon, this revelation could be the catalyst for her departure.

Also next week, Whitney and Zack receive Peach’s Baby Loss certificate which arrives in the post.
