Doing something is better than doing nothing. That might be obvious, but try to be consistent in the Effort Department, even if it has recently yielded less than impressive results. Many Klondike gold diggers in the 1800s gave up and sold mines for a pittance to someone who struck gold with a few whacks of a pickaxe. We never know how close we are to success.
