Heinz Has Launched A Vodka Tomato Sauce For A Quick Penne Alle Vodka
As far as brand collaborations go, we weren't quite expecting our favourite Beanz and ketchup brand to team up with Absolut, but here we are.
Heinz and Absolut have indeed partnered up to create a pasta sauce that's about to make your favourite Italian-American pasta dish so much easier.
The Heinz x Absolut Tomato Vodka Pasta Sauce is a rich and creamy tomato, basil and cheese sauce with the addition of one magic ingredient - vodka. During the cooking process, most of the alcohol from the vodka is reduced, boosting the volatile flavour compounds already present in the tomatoes and creating a rich texture that perfectly balances the creamy, cheese notes with the rich tomato and fragrant basil. Top with plenty of fresh parm and a few basil leaves and you've got yourself a winning Friday night dinner.

To get your hands on the sauce you'll have to hang on a little bit longer. A limited number of the Heinz x Absolut Tomato Vodka Pasta sauce jars will be available at Waitrose from mid-April for £2.50 for a 350g jar.
