Gogglebox’s Dave and Shirley send support to fellow co-star following health update
Although they might live miles apart the Gogglebox cast are very close and often support each other. Now Welsh stars Dave and Shirley have supported one of their co-stars.
Tom Malone, part of the Malone family from Manchester, took to Instagram to post a photo of him in hospital. He had suffered an arm injury and said: "Woke up with a nappy as a dressing, was caught off guard when the nurse said she had to change my nappy! Grateful to our NHS, top notch care thank you, home now!!!!"
Dave and Shirley, who are from Caerphilly and very active on Instagram, commented on the post. They said: "Get well soon mate love Dave and Shirley xx".

The Malones replied to Dave and Shirley, saying: "Thank you xxx he's well topped up on pain killers" followed by a laughing face emoji. It won't be long before the Malones and Dave and Shirley will be back on our screens for Gogglebox, with the series set to return to Channel 4 on Friday, February 14.
Shirley and Dave joined Gogglebox in series six and quickly became firm fan favourites. The Malones joined the show in series four and are also known and loved, especially for their extra family members, the dogs.
Earlier this month another Gogglebox family, the Siddiqui family from Bristol, have been showered with good wishes after sharing a heartwarming family milestone.
Sid, along with his sons Baasit, Raza, and Umar, announced that they were celebrating a special occasion: Sid's 80th birthday. They uploaded a series of images and videos capturing the birthday celebrations, captioning it: "Happy 80th Birthday to the main man himself. Lots of fun getting together with the family for a birthday lunch to celebrate."
Supporters rushed to the comments section to extend birthday wishes to the beloved reality TV figure, yet many were taken aback upon discovering Sid's significant age achievement. One fan expressed their astonishment: "Happy Birthday to the Boss!!! All the best to you. 80?? No way."
