Amelia Dimoldenberg's dress plunges alllllll the way down to her waist
We are still thick in the depths of awards szn – which you'll no doubt know if you're a regular visitor to the Cosmo UK fashion section (welcome, friends!) – as we keep banging on about it. Though can you blame us? From the Golden Globes to the Grammys, there's no better celebrity fashion than red carpet style, IMO.
And we're not just talking about the actual events themselves here. There are always after-parties necessitating an outfit change meaning more stand-out 'fits, plus pre-parties in the run-up to the ceremonies, too. It was at such a pre-party that we spotted Amelia Dimoldenberg wowing in a dress that managed to be both sexy and sophisticated. A hard combo to achieve, but the Chicken Shop Date host and creator did it with ease.
Amelia was attending the Vanity Fair EE BAFTA 2025 Rising Star party held in London last night [Wednesday 5 February] ahead of the actual BAFTAs that are scheduled to take place on Sunday 16 February. For the occasion, she donned a 16Arlington design from the London-based Italian contemporary luxury fashion house's spring summer 2025 collection.
With halter straps, the white and black contrasting dress had a very daring neckline that plunged all the way down to Amelia's waist. An overlay at the waist created a peplum-esque feature, although it had less structure than a traditional peplum and the fabric continued down the sides of the garment. A thigh-high leg slit up the front of the dress completed the design that all in all was a little bit risqué, a whole lotta chic.
Amelia added minimal black court shoes to her ensemble and kept her accessories to a minimal, wearing just a pair of simple gold hoop earrings, to let the dress take centre stage. Her beauty look saw her strawberry blonde hair styled down in loose, touselled waves while she opted for fresh makeup consisting of a subtle, brown smokey eye and a pink glossy lip.
If this is what she's wearing to a pre-party, we can't wait to see what she wears to the Oscars where she's been confirmed as the awards' official red carpet correspondent and ambassador next month.
