While fans now have many of the answers they so desperately wanted to know from the Gavin & Stacey finale, though still not what happened on the fishing trip, one extra has revealed what it was like behind the scenes. Posting on his TikTok account, Scott McGlynn has been revealing more details from the filming.

Scott, who is from Barry himself, played an extra during Smithy's stag and during the wedding scenes. Posting to TikTok Scott revealed that James Corden spent a lot of time on his phone and how they drank zero per cent beer when filming.

Speaking about filming the stag do, Scott said: "I think it was over three, four different locations. It was crazy for the stag do but again, fun times. It was so fun just to work very closely with James, Mat (Mathew Horne who plays Gavin), all the men." For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter

Scott also called Larry Lamb a "womaniser", he said: "I introduced myself to Larry Lamb as well, proper womaniser. I shook his hand, introduced myself, ladies started to arrive on set and he was just like chatting away. Just being a proper Essex boy and I love that about him, such a fun character."

He added: "The beers that we are drinking, we are actually drinking a 0% beer." Speaking about James, he said: "He was so polite, he came round, shook everyone's hand, introduced himself, thanking everyone for being there and things like that. He was on his phone a whole lot, I was with him for the whole four days and he was on his phone a lot but a lot going on, so maybe that is why, I don't know."
