Emmerdale trouble for Will Taylor as face from his past arrives in the village

Award-winning actress Christine Tremarco is set to make her mark on ITV's beloved soap opera, Emmerdale, with her debut appearance slated for later this month.

Christine will step into the role of Rose, a lively and spirited character with connections to Will, the husband of Emmerdale stalwart Kim Tate, played by Claire King.

Rose's arrival from the sunny shores of Benidorm is bound to stir up some drama, particularly when Will conveniently overlooks mentioning her to Kim.

Emmerdale has been rocked by turmoil this week, with Belle King finding herself trapped in a nightmare marriage to her controlling husband, Tom King. Viewers have been on edge witnessing Tom's manipulative and abusive behavior towards Belle, as he seeks to exert power and control over her every move.

In recent episodes, Tom has escalated his abusive tactics by staging a break-in at their home, blaming Belle for spending time with her family instead of solely focusing on him. However, sharp-eyed viewers noticed inconsistencies in Tom's story, leading many to speculate that his reign of terror may soon come to an end.

Fans took to social media to predict Tom's downfall, with one writing: "Tom is an absolute wrong’un. Can’t wait for him to be found out." Another tweeted: "Tom putting 0 effort into his cover stories is definitely going to bite him."

Adding to the intrigue is the arrival of newcomer Ella Forster, portrayed by the talented Paula Lane, whose mysterious past has sparked speculation among Emmerdale enthusiasts. Some fans have theorized that Ella may have ties to Tom King, speculating that she could be none other than Anya King, Tom's long-lost sister.

"I wonder could she really be Anya , his sister? They're both targeting a member of the Dingle family in some way or other. It's definitely a revenge plot," one fan wrote.

Emmerdale airs Monday 8th April at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
