Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson announces his fiancée is pregnant in adorable post
Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson has announced that he and his fiancée are expecting their first child together.
Bradley, who plays Vinny Dingle on the ITV soap, revealed the exciting news on Instagram and shared that he and Sammie Johnstone will welcome their little one later this year.
He announced the news with a snap of a heart-shaped cake with the words: "Baby coming December 2024," written on top of it, surrounded by pics of ultrasound scans and the parents-to-be beaming for the camera.
He simply captioned the picture: "Mum and Dad", alongside a red heart emoji. The soap star also shared a video, showing more polaroid pictures and baby scans.
Congratulations from Bradley's co-stars soon poured in as Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt on Emmerdale, wrote: "OMG baby bradders!!! Congrats you gorgeous pair, couldn’t be happier for you x x x."
Kevin Mathurin, who portrays Charles Anderson on the show, wrote: "Congratulations guys", while Dean Andrews, who plays Will Taylor said: "Mate, I could not be happier for you both. Massive congrats."
And Lisa Riley, who plays Bradley's on-screen mum Mandy Dingle gushed: "LOVE YOU BOTH SO SO SO SO MUCH. at long long last I can tell everyone-you are both going to be the absolute BEST!!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! so excited!!!! I’ve said congratulations to you both over a hundred times."
Bradley popped the question to his fiancee during a romantic getaway to Rome last October. He shared a sweet snap of him and Sammie in front of the Colosseum, with her sparkling engagement ring clearly visible.
The pair have been a loved-up item since August 2021.
In August 2022, Bradley shared a lovely message for Sammie to celebrate their one year anniversary. He penned: "1 year with my soulmate!! How time flies. We have done so much together! Here is to many more!! Love you @sammiejojo92."
Beyond the cameras, the 26-year-old actor boasts a hidden talent that's as impressive as his on-screen presence.
Before Emmerdale, Bradley made waves in the entertainment industry with appearances in popular shows like Shameless, Five Days, and Harriet's Army.
However, it was his performance on BBC's Let It Shine in 2017 that catapulted him to fame. Bradley's rendition of Bring Him Home from Les Misérables went viral, showcasing his remarkable singing prowess and earning him a coveted spot in the show's final.
He's previously showed off his incredible singing voice on Emmerdale’s YouTube channel, The Woolpack Session, and soap fans were seriously impressed.
Bradley also regularly shares acoustic covers on his Instagram page, where he belts out tracks by the likes of Coldplay, Tina Turner, Billy Joel and many more.
