Blake Lively’s Betty Booze cocktails now available in the UK
The Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively has announced the launch of Betty Booze ready-to-drink cocktails in the UK. And, she's partnered with Chef Daniel Boulud, in a fun video on Instagram.
Originally launched in the US back in June 2023, Betty Booze features three gourmet sparkling cocktails in a can, made from Blake's very own homemade recipes. It’s Lively’s second UK brand launch – following the debut of Betty Buzz, a premium adult soft drink brand, in November 2023.
In the Instagram video, which Blake captions ‘Been keeping this news under my hat for a while’, Lively is seen donning her chef whites in the kitchen of Boulud’s New York City restaurant, Restaurant DANIEL. She chops various ingredients and stirs them into a pan, while Daniel Boulud impatiently waits.
Lively then presents her canned cocktails to Boulud to try – and, by the looks of things, he thinks they're pretty great as he launches in to hug Lively after just one sip.
The Betty Booze cocktails
Betty Booze Sparkling Tequila with Lime Shiso
Effervescent Tequila paired with notes of lime and shiso (a Japanese herb). Crafted with sparkling water, premium tequila, and real juice.
Betty Booze Sparkling Tequila with Oak Smoked Lemonade
Sparkling Tequila, lemonade infused with warm oak, a squeeze of orange and a dash of butter extract. Yes butter (but don't tell, because apparently that's the secret ingredient that gives this drink such a special smoothness). Crafted with sparkling water, premium tequila, and real juice.
Betty Booze Sparkling Bourbon with Apple Ginger Sour Cherry
Sparkling Bourbon paired with the crisp flavours of apple, a kick of ginger and a dash of sour cherry. Crafted with sparkling water, premium bourbon whiskey, and real juice.
The idea behind Betty Booze? That what we drink should be held to the same standards as the food we eat. Real, uncomplicated and delicious. That means all three Betty Booze drinks have no added artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners and are lower in calories than other canned cocktails.
