When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday is officially on Friday 29th November, but plenty of the sales have already started. And although we expect the sales to continue for at least ten days, plenty of retailers have declared their sales officially open.
The official sale will start on the Friday, continuing for four days over the weekend. The final day is known as Cyber Monday and that takes place on the 2nd of December.
What is Black Friday?
Black Friday began in the US, taking place the day after Thanksgiving. In recent years, it's started to become more and more popular in the UK, although what was once an in-store shopping experience now largely takes place online.
With Black Friday becoming so popular, particularly as a chance to snap up good deals before Christmas, retailers now generally expand their deals to last much longer, often including the following weekend and the weeks before the official day.
