Like false eyelashes, apply the glue to your lips and wait for it to get tacky before patting on the glitter particles. Once set, it won’t budge, even after eating and drinking.

The hair stylists backstage at Fyodor Golan confirmed that you don’t actually need water here. They worked Davines ‘This Is A Volume Boosting’ Mousse through the top section to keep it sleek, before dusting matt powder on the ends for contrast.

As seen at Clio Peppiatt – this is one step beyond highlighter. It’s part glow and part blush for a fashion-forward flush.

Choose a slightly pink-toned high pigment highlighter like this Aphrodite shade and pat high onto the cheekbone in a C shape. Fingers work best here.

Not all of us have naturally full brows but it’s easy to fake. Just brush up whatever brow hairs you have, then use a super-fine brow pen like Benefit Precisely My Brow £20, to fill in gaps with little hair-like strokes.

At Julien Macdonald, we saw a modern take on straightened hair. It’s straight, glossy hair that’s still full of movement.

ghd’s global brand ambassador Adam Reed said the trick is to actually blow dry the hair straight, rather than use the straightener to do most of the work. He used the ghd Air Hairdryer for glossy movement, before pressing a ghd Platinum Styler through hair to eliminate any last frizz or kinks.
