Woman's cut-out dress doesn't fit as expected and we've never related to anything more

How many times have you eagerly anticipated an online order only to find that it doesn’t quite look as good on you as it did on the model?

Paige Gardener from South Wales fell victim to the all-too-common fashion faux pas when she ordered a dress from In the Style ahead of a night out in Cardiff. The £24.99 khaki-hued number featured a cut-out waistline – designed to flaunt your midriff.

But when the 23-year-old tried on the outfit, she was shocked to discover that her breasts showed through the keyhole-effect panelling.

“As soon as I put it on, I knew I definitely wasn’t going to be wearing it anywhere in public – no amount of boob tape could save that,” she said. “My first reaction as soon as I put the dress on was, ‘look at my nipples!’ It definitely wasn’t as fitted as I thought it was going to be.”

Gardener had been excited to debut the look to her friends over text but instead, ended up sending them a hilarious snap of the unfortunate get-up.

“Even though it was an embarrassing wardrobe failure, I think it is hilarious. My friends who have seen the photo think I’m an absolute legend, but I’m not sure my family would react the same,” Gardener said. “The photo has even been shared online and people think it’s hilarious there too.”

But the sartorial mishap won’t stop her from shopping on the website in the future, as she’ll simply “be more aware of the model in the picture and how much boob they’ve got themselves.”

Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.
