Oh this? Just Sabrina Carpenter in a totally see-through black lace mini dress
Sabrina Carpenter has been on her Short n' Sweet Tour for six months now and finally arrived this side of the pond for the UK leg just last week. Woohoo! Yep, to say we're excited is an understatement. But can you really blame us?
With each new concert, there's something to look forward to. Who will Sabrina arrest? What will be the surprise ‘spin the bottle’ song? What ‘Juno position’ (yes, as in, that kind of position) will she go for? And not forgetting the most exciting reveal of all, what colour crystal Victoria's Secret bustier will she wearing underneath that embellished bath towel at the start of the show?
But it's not just her on-stage outfits we're obsessed with. Having crafted a niche aesthetic for herself consisting of see-through dresses, babydoll silhouettes, lingerie details and feminine touches (colloquially referred to as ‘Brinacore’), we love seeing what Sabrina wears off-duty too. Well, her latest look does not disappoint...
Sharing a selection of photos to Instagram, appropriately captioned with a lyric from her song ‘Bed Chem’ in reference to her current stint in the UK, it was the first slide that really caught our attention. Sabrina wearing a long-sleeve black lace mini dress with a plunging neckline that, by the way, is totally see-through?! Peep the side straps of her black underwear clearly visible. Add to that the fact the design featured a crystal heart embellishment right at the crotch and was styled with sheer black lace hold-ups and it doesn't get more Brinacore than that.
No surprise the dress was a Dolce & Gabbana creation, with the Italian fashion house custom-making many of the artist's ensembles, including the outfit she wore for her iconic 2025 Grammys performance. With the European leg of the tour continuing through the summer, it's safe to say we'll be keeping a closer eye than ever on Sabrina's 'fits.
