After four weeks of twists and turns, fake Welsh accents and Claudia Winkleman's bold fashion, The Traitors came to an end in an explosive finale on Friday (January 24). Wales now has its first ever Welsh winner in 28-year-old Leanne Quigley, a former solider from Flintshire, North Wales.

Leanne, a Faithful from day one, won £47,000 in the final as she split the £94k prize pot with fellow Faithful Jake. After the Seer twist, which saw Traitor Charlotte be revealed to Frankie, Charlotte was banished leaving only Faithfuls remaining. However, distrust amongst the Faithfuls meant they voted out two of their own in Alexander and Frankie, with Leanne and Jake left as the winners.

Leanne, who pretended to be a nail technician on the show, has now revealed what she will be spending some of her huge prize on. Speaking on BBC Radio 2, Leanne said she is hoping to spend her half of the money on getting married to Sophie, her partner of six years. At a dinner party in the last week of the show, which was filmed in spring 2024, Leanne joked that she would love to spend the money on a wedding, but didn't have a ring yet. However speaking on Radio 2, she revealed that the couple, who are also parents to two-year-old twin boys, conceived through IVF, have since got engaged.

Speaking to host Romesh Ranganathan about what she would spend the prize money on, Leanne said: "There's a wedding on the cards, I would love another baby, and just to enjoy some well-deserved family time."

She added that the wedding might have to be a "big one", so that she is able to invite all of the cast.

Leanne has previously spoken about wanting to use the prize money to help grow her family. "I would love to go through IVF again," she said. "I went through IVF with my boys and I was very poorly throughout my pregnancy and then I went into early labour at six months."

She continued: "The boys were only 26 weeks when they were born. Because I was so poorly at the time I feel I missed out on enjoying that newborn stage. I'm so, so grateful to have them and I'm so lucky that they're alive. When they did come home from hospital after three months they came home on oxygen and it was a struggle to take them out. I would love the opportunity to have another baby, hopefully have a bit of a better experience. And to make our family a bit bigger."

The couple have recently had a tough time, with Leanne's partner Sophie undergoing treatment for breast cancer. In a candid post on Instagram on Thursday, January 9, she wrote: "This is the only news we needed and wanted... On the 31st July 2024 my partner, and the mother of my children was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer. Watching the person you love fight through chemotherapy is up there with the worst things on earth.

"We quickly learnt to never take anything for granted ever again, and sadly had to learn that tomorrow is never promised and fear of the unknown literally killed us inside. Yesterday, Wednesday 8th January 2025, the strongest woman on the planet earth was told she is cancer free. She did it."
