The Watcher's Naomi Watts on the "hardest" part of working with Jennifer Coolidge

Naomi Watts from The Watcher has opened up about the "hardest" part of working with Jennifer Coolidge, and it's not as shady as it sounds.

Back in December 2021, you might remember Jennifer Lawrence went viral for saying working with Jonah Hill on Don't Look Up was "really hard" because of his improvisation. The actor insisted she never knew what was going to happen next, and found it challenging.

Naomi Watts, who plays Nora Brannock in Ryan Murphy's hit Netflix show The Watcher has now opened up about something similar, speaking about how hard it was to keep a straight face opposite Coolidge.

"I have deep respect for her and her work," Watts told Digital Spy about working with Jennifer Coolidge. "I’ve just always admired it, and you can imagine my face when I heard that she was going to be part of the cast, and, particularly, an old friend. So I knew that I would have scenes with her.

"But every scene we shot, there’s just so much surprise and discovery. She just is golden. Every time she improvises… I loved it when she just went off and did her own thing. The hardest part about working with Jennifer Coolidge is keeping a straight face, you know?"
