Watch the Exclusive 'Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens' Season 3 Trailer

After an 18-month hiatus, Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens is returning for a third season.

The irreverent Comedy Central series is inspired by life experiences of its titular star, following Nora Lum (Awkwafina) as she navigates her late 20s, living in the NYC outer-borough with her grandmother (Lori Tan Chinn), her father Wally (BD Wong), and her cousin Edmond (Bowen Yang).

"This season is a wild ride with incredible guest stars and some trippy explorations. We find the Lums in a place of arrested development as everyone is trying to figure out who they are and wondering what's next," Awkwafina tells BAZAAR.com exclusively about the upcoming season. "Not surprisingly, the Lum family's inner insecurities are front and center and Nora continues searching for meaning everywhere—at home, at work and in her far flung travels. I love this cast and crew so much and am excited for the world to return to Queens with the Lums."

When will it premiere?

Nora From Queens will premiere April 26, with a new exclusive trailer showing Nora searching for meaning as she juggles several gigs, including working the counter at her neighborhood bodega and appearing in a reality competition show. Meanwhile, her family is also going through some big changes, with Wally considering marriage and Edmond exploring his... Icelandic heritage (featuring an unfortunate dye job). What is season 3 about?

"This season explores themes of identity and success, all while keeping up with the family we've grown to love: Grandma is anxious about getting older, Edmund has a taste of stardom as an actor, and Wally contemplates some big life changes," reads the season's logline.

Who else is in the cast?

In addition to the principal cast, Jennifer Esposito is returning as a recurring guest. Additional guest stars include Ken Jeong, Ronny Cheing, Michael Bolton, Ross Butler, Ronny Chieng, Lea DeLaria, Janeane Garofalo, Gina Gershon, Ken Jeong, Frankie Muniz, Jai Rodriguez, and Greta Titelman.

Awkwafina will also be making her directorial debut this season, with Bill Benz, Jordan Kim, and Laura Murphy also directing.
