Last week, we witnessed something on the catwalk that should never see the light of day: thong jeans.

Created by Japanese brand Thibaut, the extreme denim look was showcased at Amazon Fashion Week in Tokyo.

Now, the people behind that pregnant Kylie Jenner costume, Yandy, have turned it into a look fit for Halloween.

Yes, you can become the thong jean meme this Halloween.

The Runway Thong Jeans costume – which features a nude semi see-through bodysuit and the tattered jeans with the required cheeky backside – costs around £40.

“In the last few days this look emerged as the internet’s latest viral sensation,” said Yandy VP of Merchandising, Pilar Quintana-Williams. “With Halloween so near, this is the kind of costume our customer wants to be the talk of their Halloween party.”

It may only be fit for an adults-only party but if you’re brave, you could trial the look on the streets. (Let us know how you get on.)

The thong jean debate is still going strong on Twitter with people only too willing to give their thoughts on the latest bizarre denim trend.

“No self-respecting person would ever even think of wearing this… Are you sure they are for humans?” commented one woman.

“It looks like this woman was attacked by a bear,” said another Twitter user.

Can’t say we disagree.
