Although the glitter boots were a major highlight of the show, the designer also showed the scrunched-up knee-high boots in more wearable colors and materials, such as black and brown leather as well as black velvet and blue suede.
Of course, if you can’t wait until the Fall/Winter 2017 collection ships later this year, you can scoop up a similar, Chelsea boot version of the glitter knee-high boots from the French brand today:
Aside from the glittery shoes, the collection beamed with YSL’s signature ultrasexy short leather minidresses with ruched details and exaggerated shoulders that were popular when Hedi Slimane was overseeing the brand.
However, Vaccarello put his signature sleek and sultry appeal on the silhouettes by showing a collection that oozed rock-star style. Highlights included a royal blue metallic mini, a long-sleeved scrunched leather dress, and a deep-cut V-neck frock with metallic rhinestone embroidery along the sleeves.
