A study has discovered that laziness is actually a sign of intelligence. Who knew?

The research, conducted by the Florida Gulf Coast University, polled 30 students split in two groups - thinkers and non-thinkers.

Each student wore an accelerometer on his or her wrist for seven days to measure their amount of physical activity. The results? The cleverer the student, the less active they were found to be. In contrast, the less intelligent students got bored quickly subsequently spending a lot more time being physically active - and less time engaged in thought.
