Strictly fans all make same complaint over results show - and it's not Shayne Ward's exit
Viewers of Stictly Come Dancing took their social media accounts on Sunday night following the elimination episode which saw Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu become the seventh couple to leave the show. As well as a dance-off between Shayne and Nancy, and Wynne Evans and Katya Jones, there was also a special dance performance to mark Remembrance Sunday.
With Gorka Marquez as one of the leads, the professionals danced to The Blower’s Daughter by Damien Rice and the poignancy of the choreography seemed to land well with viewers. However, a live performance by Ball & Boe - which is comprised of West End star Michael Ball and opera singer Alfie Boe. The duo covered He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother by The Hollies, while Kai Widdrington and Karen Hauer danced.
But after the show, fans didn't seem impressed with the song choice, with one person writing: "It was awful. They didn't blend well together at all", and another adding "we didn't like their version of the song either!". A third commented: "I thought the group dance was lovely unlike Michael Ball and Alfie Boe ruining the Hollies song. Just my opinion".

Luckily the professionals' group dance didn't get the same response, with viewers calling it "beautiful". One person said they were brought to tears by dance, commenting: "Wow! Such a beautiful and moving dance by the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing for Remembrance Day. Had a few tears at the end."
With the pros all wearing poppies, the dance finished by portraying a young soldier turned into his modern day elderly self, before pinning a poppy onto a young girl.
As well as the emotion of the Remembrance tribute, there was also some emotions from the celebrities, especially Shayne Ward as he thanked his partner Nancy for being by his side over the two months. Speaking after he was announced as the departing celeb, the former Coronations Street star said: "I just want to say, you guys up there (the other contestants) are a dream. Every single day, coming in here and seeing you guys, you helped me so much.
"I want to say thank-you to the audience as well, for always being amazing for us all. This has been, honestly, one of the best things I’ve ever done. I’m proud that I made it to eight weeks as a novice dancer. A massive thank-you goes to this incredible human right next to me (Nancy), who has put so much fire in me and made me believe that I can actually achieve more if I let myself go."
