Stacey Solomon declares love for Joe Swash as grandma, 96, adorably plays with baby Belle
Stacey Solomon has shared an emotional video of herself with her children she shares with Joe Swash, Belle, Rose and Rex over the Christmas period, while professing her love for the former Eastenders star. Talking to her 6 million followers, the former X-Factor star posted a video sitting with her kids on the floor playing with toys, which included a pink play house in the background. The mum of five sat on the floor in a white dressing gown and mug of tea, while husband Joe filmed the adorable video of his family.
Along with the video, Stacey played the song Slipping Through My Fingers by Jae Hall, as she wrote on top of the reel: “My Happy Place. To others it looks like nothing… To me it is everything. So grateful to have some time at home with my everything love you @joeswash for taking these videos. Hope you’ve had some “nothing” time with your loved ones. Lots of love from all of us.” The video also featured Stacey’s Grandma, who recently just celebrated her 96th birthday, adorably playing with the youngest of the brood - Belle.
This comes after Joe spilled the beans on his and Stacey Solomon's festive shake-up, following whispers of a tiff. The celeb duo has been getting into the Christmas spirit at their lush £1.2 million abode, lovingly named Pickle Cottage, with offspring in tow. TV star Stacey, 35, kicked off the Yuletide vibe in early November, even treating fans to a social media sneak peek featuring a rainbow of fairy lights and jolly decorations hanging about. Stacey and Joe first met in 2010 when Stacey was crowned Queen of the jungle in ITV's I’m A Celebrity and Joe was hosting the spin off show.

The couple have six kids, with the pair parenting Rex, aged five, three year old Rose, and tiny tot Belle, who's just celebrated her first birthday. Stacey also has teen boys, Zachary and Leighton, from a previous relationship, while Joe shares Harry with his ex Emma Sophocleous. In 2019, Joe and Stacey welcomed their first child together and revealed they’d named him Rex Toby Francis Swash. The couple then tied the knot three years later in July 2022.
The brood bundled up for a huge festive do last year, with craft queen Stacey showing off her DIY skills on TV with Stacey Solomon's Crafty Christmas, reports the Mirror. However, this season will see them dialling it back for a cosier, more intimate gathering.
Speaking to Metro, 42 year old Joe revealed: "Last year, we had about 28 people at our house for Christmas dinner. This year is a bit more quiet: just me, Stacey, the kids and three or four other people coming."
Fans are left wondering if the couple's scaled-down festive plans are a result of their recent spat, which was so intense that Stacey was spotted being comforted by a film crew on the street. According to an insider, the pair departed in different directions, with Stacey seen embracing someone from the production team.
But now it seems the pair are moving forward and have enjoyed the festive break together in love.
