Whether you’re packing for a ski trip in the near future or just seeking a few cozy new pieces for your winter wardrobe, allow me to present you with the holiday haul of the century. As a fashion editor, I’m always overdressed and overpacked, so when it came to my first-ever trip to Colorado, of course I managed both.
I wasn’t quite sure what to pack for a ski trip that also involved aprés ski festivities, but I settled on lots of layerable activewear and tons of stylish knits. Did I rent a Chanel ski helmet and beg a friend to borrow her Moon Boots for photo opps? Guilty. But the majority of my suitcase was filled with far more practical—but equally as cool—pieces, like flattering Old Navy leggings, cozy Abercrombie sweaters, chic Bleusalt sets, and Ugg’s latest platform boots. (Oh, and a few pieces I could actually ski in, of course.) Read on for everything I packed and actually wore on and off the slopes.

Ugg Classic Twin Seam New Heights Boot
Does anything scream “cozy winter vibes” quite like a fresh pair of Chestnut Uggs? I think not. I love this upgraded New Heights Boot silhouette with its fitted, seamed shaft and chunky platform sole. If Bratz Dolls wore Uggs, I feel like this would be the pair.
Alo Yoga Main Act Corset Puffer
The moment I learned I’d be expected to serve looks at an aprés ski happy hour, I added Alo Yoga’s Main Act Corset Puffer to my packing list. It doesn’t skimp on heavy-duty warmth, but the cropped silhouette and corset-inspired hem really up the style ante.
Old Navy Extra High-Waisted Twist-Front Leggings
Would you believe me if I said my all-time favorite leggings retail for less than $40—and are almost always on sale? Don’t sleep on Old Navy’s Extra High-Waisted Twist-Front Leggings; the material is stellar and the twist-front waistband is mega-flattering. I own this and the matching Dynamic Fleece Half-Zip Hoodie in three colorways.
Abercrombie The A&F Madeline Crew Sweater
I had a hard time choosing between all the different iterations of Abercrombie’s Madeline Sweater. While I snagged the cheeky “Please Do Not Disturb” style (perfect for holiday hotel vibes!), these mountain print and “Aprés Club” options were close runner-ups for obvious reasons.
Bleusalt The Cindy Top
Bleusalt is such an editors’ secret—it’s my go-to brand for luxe basics that feel elevated without sacrificing softness. I have The Cindy Top in multiple colors, but I picked it up in Camel to pair with The Cindy Pant for a head-to-toe monochrome moment. The slouchy neckline is a 10/10.
Sol and Selene Neoprene Sling Bag
I knew I wanted either a belt bag or a sling-style bag to style both with activewear and over bulkier outerwear, and this Neoprene Sling Bag I found at Anthropologie really fulfilled all my needs. The neoprene gives it a sporty feel, but the woven look kind of gave me designer vibes. Plus, it held way more stuff than I expected, which is always a pleasant surprise.
Victoria’s Secret Thermal Long Pajama Set
Cozy pajamas are a post-snow essential for me, and VS always has the cutest holiday prints. I picked up a classic fair isle style as well, but the VS Skiers print on this Thermal Long Pajama Set felt like too on-brand to refuse. I actually picked up the shorts version, but I’d recommend the pants for cold-weather trips going forward.
FP Movement Myoko Jacquard Base Layer
I typically opt for all-black thermal underwear when skiing, but the Myoko Jacquard Base Layer felt like the ideal pop of print beneath my black ski suit. I styled this with the matching Myoko Jacquard Base Leggings, but either piece could just as easily be paired with black for a more toned-down look. I love the option to mix and match, especially when I need to make the most of what’s in my suitcase.
