Soap fans shocked as they realise stars are real-life couple in rare tour of home
Fans were left stunned after they were given a rare insight into a real-life soap couple's stunning home. In a TikTok video, Hollyoaks stars Nikki Sanderson and Anthony Quinlan - who began dating in 2021 - shared with followers a peek of the gorgeous interiors inside their house. From wooden beams on the ceiling and a rustic feel throughout, plus sparkling Christmas tree in the corner, it certainly appeared to be a celeb-worthy pad.
Aside from welcoming fans into their home, the TikTok video also appeared to playfully poke fun at their relationship - but many followers didn't even realise the pair were in a relationship.
In the clip, Anthony and Nikki jokingly poke fun at one another's time-keeping as it begins with Anthony taking his time in the toilet despite Nikki being ready to get out of the door for a night out. Nikki - who has also appeared in Holby City - captioned the funny video: "Can anyone relate?"

Naturally, the comment section was soon flooded with Hollyoaks fans in shock that "Maxine and Gilly" were together. One follower wrote: "Your going out with gilly??? I’ve missed a whole chapter here," while a second said: "Maxine & Gilly? I had no idea!!".
A third went on to write: "I totally forgot these two were a couple," and a fourth shared: "This is amazingly accurate."
Nikki and 39 year old Anthony both spent a few months working alongside one another on Channel 4 show Hollyoaks, where Anthony rose to fame on the programme in 2005 after spending six years playing Gilly Roach. Meanwhile Nikki took on the role of Maxine Minniver after already been well-known from her time as Candice Stowe in Coronation Street from 1999 to 2005.
Despite the couple only working together briefly on the soap, they remained good pals and fast forward to 2021 that, they struck up a romance with each other. It was first reported that they they grew closer thanks to their shared love for fitness and, most recently, Anthony and Nikki also jetted off on a romantic sun-soaked holiday in May to celebrate the actress' 40th birthday in style.
Their relationship was thought to have followed Anthony's split from Strictly dancer Dianne Buswell as well as his exit from Emmerdale, where he played Pete Barton.
Anthony dated Dianne for a little over a year but their relationship ended in 2018 and she moved on with her celeb dancing partner from that year, YouTube star Joe Sugg.
